Dear Students for Life Supporter,
I’ve never seen it this bad.
I’ve been on the front lines in the battle for Life for over a decade.
I’ve been mobbed on college campuses by purple-haired “feminists” screaming obscenities in my face.
Members of our team have been punched in the face in public and assaulted on camera by pro-abortion radicals.
Our displays are constantly vandalized on campuses and our students are harassed online and in person.
But none of that compares to the threats we’ve received in the wake of the leaked draft majority opinion showing the U.S. Supreme Court is poised to reverse Roe v. Wade.
I can’t go into all of the details, but after we received reports that another pro-life pregnancy help clinic was vandalized recently, Tina (Students for Life’s Vice President), met with some security officials who did an assessment of our office.
Needless to say, their recommendations aren’t cheap.
Quite frankly, with the very real threats we’re facing from pro-abortion radicals, I feel like I have no other choice but to beef up our security – both at our office and to help protect our students when they’re counter-protesting the abortion mob.
I’ll go into more specifics of what security measures we need to upgrade in just a moment.
But if you can’t commit to making a monthly recurring gift right now, I hope you’ll please at least consider chipping in a one-time gift.
I know I’m not breaking news to you when I say the temperature on college campuses has been reaching a boiling point.
But in the wake of the Supreme Court leak, I’m afraid its spilling over into even more terrifying threats.
Last week, an armed pro-abortion radical traveled across the country in an attempt to do the unthinkable to Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Like you, I’m so grateful nothing happened to Justice Kavanaugh or his family.
But where was the outrage from the national media?
Where were the politicians stepping in to insist the Left “tone down” their actions and rhetoric?
Instead, the pro-abortion group “Ruth Sent Us” continued to protest outside of Justice Kavanaugh’s private residence – mere hours after the foiled assassination attempt.
The next day a mob of pro-abortion protesters were in front of Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s home yet again!
Even worse, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) BLOCKED a bill (S. 4160) to provide increased security to the Justices and their families. This is a bill that passed with unanimous consent in the U.S. Senate!
There’s no other way to say it.
This is intentional.
The pro-abortion mob will do whatever it takes – and I mean whatever – to get their way and maintain abortion-on-demand.
After all, these are the same folks who prey on vulnerable young women and support ripping innocent preborn babies limb-from-limb out of their mother’s womb.
This is what you and I are up against.
And while I would NEVER stoop to their lows, I can’t just send our young pro-life students to the Supreme Court or on college campuses to be cannon fodder for pro-abortion radicals.
Not only that, after reviewing the security assessment of our headquarters, it’s clear we’re in dire need of upgrades.
That’s why I’m counting on your generous financial support today.
With your support you’ll help us pay for:
>>> Security cameras at our office headquarters. We estimate this will cost up to $7,000 for all of the hardware and installation.
>>> 24/7 professional security monitoring. We estimate this will cost us $250 per month.
>>> Upgraded window and entry door security. This is would be a one-time cost of $3,000, but it will help keep our office safe and more private.
>>> Full-time on-premise security. This is not something I ever thought I’d have to worry about, but in today’s world I’m afraid it may be necessary. Having a security guard at our headquarters would be an extra $5,000 per month.
>>> On-call security guards for events and counter-protests. Over the years, I’ve been protested on college campuses at speaking events. At one school we even had to call the bomb squad to sweep the room before my speech. At another, I had to be escorted by police out the back door because the protesters were getting too rowdy. Not to mention, we’ve had students assaulted at multiple so-called “Women’s March” counter-protests. I estimate hiring extra security for the events we do will cost an additional $3,500 per month.
Some of these costs are large one-time expenses.
But others are billed monthly, potentially adding thousands to our budget.
While our team does our best every year to project expenses, this is not something I had anticipated at the beginning of the year (never mind the added costs “thanks” to Bidenflation).

Of course, I know not everyone can commit to making a monthly recurring gift right now, but I do hope you’ll at least chip in a one-time contribution to help us pay for these additional security measures.
The Supreme Court’s decision will happen in the next two weeks.
And if they do finally reverse Roe v. Wade, it will IMMEDIATELY open the door to dozens of new battles over abortion.
Please pray for our nation.
Pray for our leaders – especially our Supreme Court Justices as they prepare to release their official decision on the Dobbs v. Jackson case.
Pray they make the just and bold decision to finally end the travesty of abortion-on-demand and reverse Roe v. Wade.
And please also pray for the safety of our team at Students for Life Action.
We refuse to be intimidated by the abortion mob.
We won’t be backing down.
But by making this decision, it could leave us vulnerable.
That’s why I’m coming to you today to ask for your support.
President, Students for Life of America
